Soprano, Jacqueline Quirk is making her mark in the realms of operatic performance throughout the world as one of opera's outstanding stars, she most recently made her Carnegie Hall debut as a finalist in the International Verissmo Opera Competition, and was the only American to be invited to Nagasaki, Japan to compete in the the  International Madama Butterfly Competition , of which she was a top finalist.
Ms. Quirk is recognized for the roles that reveal a captivating full lirico- spinto soprano with an acclaimed versatile range. The most popular roles in her repertoire are; Mimi ( La Boheme), Cio Cio San ( Madama Butterfly) and now Tosca, to add to the Puccini heroine TRIO!
Upcoming engagements include: a debut role as the Mother ( Hansel & Gretel ) with the Bainbridge Performing Arts Center, Tosca ( cover) for Saint Petersburg Opera, a return to Bremerton Symphony for a gala concert in " The Passion of Puccini". So far in 2013/14 season she will make her debut role as the Mother in ( Amahl and the Night Visitors), revisit both roles; Suor Angelica and Santuzza with Verissmo Opera, at the Bergen Performing Arts Center, NJ, as well as her debut with the Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra.
He Concert Tour: " Along the Journey" was just performed in Jacksonville, FL with Jacksonville Lyric Opera, next stops on the tour will be Bainbridge Island ( First Sunday Concert Series ) in May, then New York City, Brussels and Italy in the Summer
Most recently, Jacqueline debuted with the Connecticut Concert Opera as Marguerite ( Faust) , another Cio Cio San ( Madama Butterfly) with Kitsap Opera, Micaela ( Carmen) with New York Lyric Opera, Rosalinde ( Die Fledermaus) with the Bremerton Symphony Orchestra, the Contessa ( Le Nozze de Figaro ) Lincoln Center Library, and her first Suor Angelica at the DiMenna Center for the Performing Arts, NYC.
